Rainy Weather at Bridal Veil Falls Provincial Park, British Columbia, Canada

Bridal Veil Falls is an incredible sight to witness. The setting is extremely lush and even more so given the rain and fog. As you could imagine, that was also a cause for frustration. At Minter Gardens I could keep my lens dry at least because I was shooting down at everything but at Bridal Veil Falls you are only allowed to go up to the view point but from there you have to point the camera upwards in order to capture the falls. Keeping the lens dry was pretty much an exercise in futility even with an umbrella shielding the camera so I had to wipe the lens after each shot. With that said, I’m happy that I managed to get a few clean images of Bridal Veil Falls. I would like to have explored the creeks and some more of the temperate rain forest textures but by this point the rain was just pouring too hard so we called it a day.
